Hotel Owners
Over the years, the Mayflower Park Hotel has been privileged to be a participant in the major and minor events of people’s lives. To our guests, many of whom have returned to us time and time again, we are deeply indebted.

Welcome to Mayflower Park

A hotel is about people. Over the years, the Mayflower Park Hotel has been privileged to be a participant in the major and minor events of people’s lives. It has been a privilege to be caretakers of this lovely and very special hotel for the past 46 years. These years have brought us much satisfaction and joy, and we are dedicated to the tradition of making the Mayflower Park Hotel, “Quite Simply, One of a Kind.”

Historic Mayflower Park Hotel Celebrates 94 Years

Mayflower Park Hotel came to being on July 16th, 1927 and is celebrating 94 years as a Seattle historic gem. Throughout the 94 years, the Mayflower Park Hotel has been managed by local owners and still is to this day. We invite Seattleites and tourists alike to join us in celebration, not only of our history but our continued community involvement in Seattle!

We look forward to seeing guests from near and far during this special time. When staying with us, we invite you to stop by our fourth avenue entrance where you will find a historic picture gallery.  Also, our very own book, ‘Seattle’s Mayflower Park Hotel’, is a tribute to Seattle, the hotel and local owners, Birney and Marie Dempcy and available to purchase at the front desk.

Environmental Values

The Mayflower Park Hotel has been a long standing establishment within the Seattle community since 1927. For many years, we have put our personal attention towards conserving the environment. We have always scrutinized all departments in our operations to minimize our waste and negative impact on earth. Every little bit has helped, from recycling our paper to using local produce in our restaurant. And the fact that our hotel is 94 years old means our ‘carbon footprint’ is very small in the day and age of the ever-expansive development of new hotels.

Mayflower Park Hotel Receives Best Historic Hotel Award

We are beyond excited to have received the “Best Historic Hotel” (76-200 guestrooms) award at Historic Hotels of America’s annual conference!
