The holiday season is just around the corner, and at Mayflower Park Hotel, we’re all about embracing the magic of the moment. Whether you're staying with us for a cozy getaway or just passing through to see the sights, we have plenty of festive cheer. Here’s a peek at what we’ve got planned this holiday season:

Holiday Decorations

It's almost time to Deck our Halls! Each year, our team takes great pride in creating that magical festive feeling, and this year will be no exception! Guests can expect to see our holiday trees and twinkling lights by November 29th (and sometimes they go up even sooner). As you step into the lobby, you’ll be greeted with holiday warmth and sparkle, setting the perfect tone for your stay. It’s hard to resist snapping a picture in front of our grand tree on the mezzanine—it’s always a holiday favorite photo-op!

Cookies & Cocoa

We’re thrilled to bring back our Cookies & Cocoa service in the lobby, a guest favorite that perfectly captures the spirit of the season. Every Friday between Thanksgiving and Christmas, from 2 PM to 4 PM, you can pop down to the lobby for a special holiday treat and enjoy a complimentary cup of cocoa paired with freshly baked cookies. There’s no better way to warm up after exploring the city’s winter charm. Trust us, it’s hard to say no to a second (or third) cookie.

Staff Gingerbread House Competition

The competition will be heating up—gingerbread style! Our staff gingerbread contest will return this year, and you, our lovely guests, get to be the judges. Starting on Black Friday, each department's masterpiece will be on display in the lobby, and you'll have the chance to cast your vote for the one that steals your heart (or sweet tooth!). It’s always fun to see how imaginative (and competitive) the staff can get!

Tree Lighting at Westlake Park

Seattle shines bright during the holiday season, and one of the most iconic sights is the tree lighting ceremony at Westlake Park, along with the lighting of the Macy’s Star. Both take place on November 29th, officially kicking off the holiday spirit downtown. Some of our rooms even have views of these landmarks, but since availability isn’t guaranteed, make sure to head out and see them up close. You won’t want to miss the sparkle!

Seattle Symphony Holiday Concerts

We’re excited to partner with the Seattle Symphony again this year to offer our guests an exclusive 20% discount on several of their spectacular holiday performances.
